What a class looks like
Children engage in play-based activities, songs, stories, and Mandarin immersion in a calm, nurturing environment. Once-a-week music sessions with Ms. Nadja are included. Sessions gradually increase in length during staggered settling-in periods.

Curriculum & Progression
Semi-structured (flexible framework)
Play-based, holistic approach supporting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Soft and natural English and Mandarin immersion through play, songs, stories, and everyday activities. Weekly music sessions with Ms. Nadja.

About
A gentle transition into independent learning where children are supported to explore, build confidence, and develop social connections in a calm and nurturing environment. Little Mandarin Buds offers a home-away-from-home experience while introducing a soft and natural immersion in both English and Mandarin through play, songs, and everyday activities. As part of the programme, Ms. Nadja leads joyful music sessions every Wednesday. Sessions run Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings. This playgroup offers specialised support for SEN students with personalised one-to-one support shared around how each child learns best. Each session is thoughtfully designed to build confidence, strengthen key skills, and nurture a genuine love for learning.
Before your first class
Bring a comfort item from home (small blanket, teddy, or favourite toy). Create a consistent goodbye routine. Prepare children with gentle reminders and countdowns before transitions. Support a calm, brief 'drop and go' approach once comfortable.
