Bespecial Wood Carving & Woodcraft was established in 2013. Vivian Law and Justin Chan, two wood carving sculptors promote a living-with-less lifestyle and stay harmonious with nature in Hong Kong. They acquired their carving skills in different places, such as the UK, Taiwan and Dongyang, Zhejiang Province, which exposed them to both modern and traditional carving. They are now based in its Kwun Tong studio, focusing on art creation, community workshops, and product design, integrating wood carving into this prosperous city. Our creative inspiration stems from a deep observation and reverence for the symbiotic relationships found in nature. Through wood carving, we transform the invisible connections between species into tangible, three-dimensional narratives. At the same time, we hold a deep affection for the cultures and stories of Hong Kong and beyond, translating them into an artistic language that embodies ecological harmony and a deep connection to the land. Bespecial Wood Carving & Woodcraft 開始於2013年，有幸聚集了一眾喜愛木質的好友，並鼓勵著我們步向更多元化，把更有趣的木藝經驗分享給大家。 兩位木雕藝術家羅芷韻 (Vivian Law) 與陳子駿( Justin Chan)，藉著木雕藝術推崇減法生活，達至與大自然同步。先後到台灣、浙江東陽及英國等地隨當地大師學藝，涉獵現代與傳統視野。現駐紮觀塘工作室，專注藝術創作、學校教學、社區工作坊、產品設計等，把木雕融入繁華鬧市。 我們的創作靈感源於對自然共生關係的深刻觀察與敬愛。透過木雕將大自然中物種間無形的連結，轉化為可觸摸的立體敘事。同時我們熱愛香港與 及其他地方的文化與故事，化為蘊含生態和諧與土地情感的藝術語言。
